Our latest Run The Trap Premiere comes to us today from the man Klever. The former DMC champion absolutely brings the heat with this trap music release, a sick remix of Fefe Dobson‘s single Legacy. This track got started a few months back when Fefe, Yelawolf, and Klever were hanging out in New York. Fefe wanted to show him her new song and Klever liked what he heard. He then asked for the stems and began constructing this masterpiece. After showing the result to both Fefe and Yelawolf, they liked it so much they decided that Yelawolf needed to spit over this fat beat and what resulted is a song that’ll be on your playlist for months to come.
Klever draws you in at the start of the song with a masterful use of Fefe’s beautiful vocalsand an uplifting beat. When that drop hits and Yelawolf starts flowing though, the song completely changes its demeanor. Yelawolf states his respect for many different artists like Kanye, Jay Z, Beyonce, and others during his rap but also awknowledges the differences between major artists and him by saying “I support it, but I can’t afford it. Me and them is on different pay grades.”
You can stream Fefe Dobson – Legacy (Klever Remix Feat Yelawolf) as well as the instrumental version below. Be sure to grab your copy as it is up for free download and check out Klever’s Twitter and Instagram to keep up with what he’s into.
